We recommend determining your size based on the internal diameter of a ring that fits you well. To find the internal diameter, refer to the following photo for guidance. The key here is to measure the INTERNAL DIAMETER of your ring, meaning the center. (TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENT EXACTLY LIKE THIS PHOTO).
For example, the internal diameter of this ring is 1.8 cm, which corresponds to size 7.
Make sure that the measurement is taken between the internal walls of the ring and remember that every millimeter counts. Please note that for international shipping, resizing is not available.
If you have more questions about your ring size, message us on DM. We can help you there.
Note from Cami: It is very important that you take this measurement correctly (make sure!). This will ensure that the ring fits well, and I will make it with all my love based on the size you selected, so it is your responsibility to measure it accurately. If the ring doesn't fit well because you gave me the wrong size and you need to make alterations, you will need to cover the shipping and replacement costs.
Keep in mind that the internal diameter of your Vold ring may not be perfect due to the nature of glass and the handmade process of our pieces. However, we will adjust it with a ring sizer to ensure it is the correct size you ordered.
Care Instructions:
Don't be afraid!
Glass jewelry can have a long life if you take good care of it. Despite its reputation as a fragile material, glass can be a true treasure when handled and cared for properly.
- You should protect it from strong falls. Very hard impacts can cause your piece to break.
- Also, avoid hard knocks, for example, clapping your hands where your piece may hit rings made of other materials, such as metal, or striking it hard against a wall or another hard surface.
- Avoid exposing it to sudden temperature changes, for example, washing your hands with cold water and then using hot air to dry them.
- When washing your hands, we recommend removing your piece and putting it back on once your hands are dry. Wet hands may cause your piece to slip.
- Avoid doing activities that require strength or involve a lot of hand movement while wearing your pieces. Some pieces, due to their size and design, are more delicate than others.
- Store them in their case when you're not wearing them.
- Protect your energy and your thoughts! Glass reflects you and your mind.
Since it's glass, there are situations beyond Vold’s control, so you need to take care of your jewelry with love. Remember that using this piece is your responsibility, and Vold is not responsible for these situations.
If your piece fogs up with sweat or steam, you can wipe it with a cloth and some alcohol.
What should I do if my piece breaks?
Borosilicate glass won't shatter into a million pieces like traditional glass. That's why it's possible that we at Vold can repair it. It's important that you do not use any kind of glue to try to fix it and that you keep as many pieces as possible. Please note that for international shipping, we do not offer repair services for pieces. However, we can help you find a local workshop that may assist you.
